Lekker Brood has opened up in the former butcher shop E. Noack in the centre of the Hague. A location with 185 years of history in the walls is the ideal setting for the artisanal bakery.

The basic ingredients for the bread are organic and used in such a way that they infuse the finished loaves with great taste and character. Great flavour takes time. Every loaf can take up to 48 hours from first mixing until they are ready for the shop.

In 2012 the bakery switched to 100% organic. This was the starting point of expanding there tasty offerings. Together with customers they developed the whole wheat bread with sunflower seeds. Another customer makes homemade gingerbread which they gladly sell in the shop and with a local entrepreneur they are working on a new regional product made fresh every day.
