I love to visit organic farms. It makes me feel good to see happy free range animals. In my opinion it’s important to eat less and better meat, or no meat at all. The free range pigs, cows, goats, sheep and chickens make beautiful photo models too…
At Ca’n Pere Mussona in Ibiza all animals there are typical for the Balerean islands, Mallorcina cows from Mallorca, and Formentera pigs, goats, chickens, sheep and rabbits from Ibiza.
4-8 year old school children visit the farm in groups. According to Stepan, who runs the farm together with Ronny the owner, it’s important for the children to know about animals. That they are not a piece of meat at the butcher or the supermarket but a living, breathing animal with its own specific needs.
